Product Render
I had wanted to try more basic object textures. Just a simple bump texture with a metallic shader. however Cycles's denoising can be a bit frustrating when its wiping away all the detail. So this animation was rendered at a much higher sample-rate. Usually, to keep render times down I render at a low sample-rate and let the denoiser do the rest. This time, It was time to embrace the grain. Not many people realize, but a little render grain does add some realism. Cameras, especially ones that are shooting with a higher ISO exposure will often have a bit or even a-lot of grain. Pair that with a procedural bump map, some normal-embossed text textures, some transmissive-emissive lights and an HDRI to boot, and the realism can start to emerge. However I can't say I've mastered product realism, I feel with every new project I get a little more experience and Ideas on how to overcome technical challenges.
